This is a preview of what is coming this year from Nerf. The video looks sweet and so does the blasters. I can't wait until the releasing of the blasters.

The Hailfire looks awesome, still only if we couldn't see it properly. What could it be? Looks like one of those Nerf blasters from the Wii game Nerf Elite. Maybe Nerf have stated making the blasters from the game?

New York City Toy Fair - Nerf

At the toy fair in New York, many new Nerf blasters and other Nerf related stuff were showed to the public. Here are some of them.

The New Nerf Dart Tag Snapfire 8. Its basically a Speedswarm without the batteries and the motor. This has a whole new mechanism. There is no need to cock, just a press on the trigger and the darts will be flying!

It has a knob on the bottom of the handle, where you can decide the power and exit speed of the dart!

Here's a video of the blaster in action. I had to replay some times :)

Nerf Dart Tag Furyfire with GI Joe theme. What could the thing on the tactical rail be? I think it's the attachment for your iPhone, so you can film your battles. Also: What is that handle-thing in the background? It looks sweet.

It's a Nerf bike! Don't believe me? Enlarge the picture and see the logos all over it. It have an attachment on the steering wheel for a maverick., which looks awesome.

2012 is going to be one of the best Nerf years yet, and possibly the next years as well.

Also coming this year, is the Nerf Vortex Pyragon. This blaster will be the next Vortex blaster with a 40-disc magazine! The colors on the blaster will be a mix of Whiteout and a new red theme. Most likely the magazine will be compatible with other Vortex blasters. Also it haves red discs, which are supposedly tougher and shoot longer. The pump on the blaster looks sweet on the blaster, and it maybe be there for slam-mode firing. Most of the Nerf blasters with large magazines has the slam-mode function. Lets hope the Pyragon has it too. It got tactical rails and a shoulder stock function, so most Nerf accessories will fit it.

The darts look very much like a Streamline dart, only with a Sonic Dart tip. They're blue because the Nerf Elite blasters are as well. Hopefully they fit in ordinary N-Strike clips. It seems like they will whistle because of the "hole" on the tip.

Nerf N-Strike Elite Rampage

This blaster is basically a Nerf Raider remake. It haves the slam mode firing option and a drum-mag.

The pictures suggests that this blaster almost haves the same colors. The blaster supposedly haves a drum-mag that holds 25 darts, instead of 35, and comes with a tactical shield. The box claims that it shoots up to 75 feet (!!!). That is a huge leap from 35ft. Hopefully the clip fits other N-Strike blasters along with the darts.

And this is basically a remake of the Nerf Recon. It has been repainted Elite theme, and comes with slightly different accessories.

The box says that it's a 4-in-1 blaster. That is probably because of the removable barrel, handle, stock. Remove one from the blaster an it's a different blaster. Switch two attachments and it's a different blaster.

The barrel is removable, and is the same as the one on the Recon, except that it's blue.

The handle is removable and is said that it does the same as a Nerf Stampede handle.

The stock is really cool looking and is removable as well.

The blaster comes with a clip that is longer than a 6-dart clip. A guesstimate: the clip holds 12 darts.

The box says here too that this blaster shoots 75 feet, which is crazy much for a stock blaster. Hopefully the clip and darts fits other N-Strike blasters.

This is basically the Nerf BBB (Big Bad Bow) repainted. No wait.... it's original, but with a sticker. Nerf haves often made/repainted a blaster for a special Marvel or Hasbro movie like Iron Man or Transformers.

The arrival of the Rayven and the Lumitron has gotten many to think what they are for. In what series they were in. Nerf revealed that a new series is to be released the 3rd of March 2012, with the Rayven and Lumitron as the first blasters in the series. The Light It Up series will be consisting blasters that shoot glowing darts, like the Rayven and Lumitron.
Maybe Nerf will repaint the old Firefly and put it in the series?

Another Vortex blaster has been revealed. It's the Lumitron. The Lumitron is very much alike the Praxis. Some even say it is the Praxis. But what is new about the blaster? The blaster has Firefly and XLR-disc technology, which means it shoots glowing discs. Just like the Firefly has. The magazine has the firefly logo on, just like the Rayven.

Nerf N-Strike Rayven CS-18: It's Real!

Urban taggers got their hand on a Nerf Rayven. The review is very thorough. You should see their review.

The Rayven is a flywheel, clip-fed, glowing dart, shooting blaster. The clip holds 18 darts and is very special. It glows too, and haves a cool firefly logo on it. The "box" on the clip is where the batteries, light and switch are. The Rayven accepts every Nerf clips and drums. The 6-dart clip to the 18-dart clip, 18-dart drum-mag to the 35-dart drum-mag.
The blaster is a flywheel blaster so it might be as loud as the Barricade.
The clip release is at almost the end of the stock, which is where the clip also goes. ( like a WA2000, if you know what i mean). The colors are olive-green/lime green-ish. The dart are of course Streamlines, but they have the potential to glow in the dark. It's possible to attach a barrel-extension to the blaster, and it haves two tactical rails; one one the side, and one on the top.

Nerf Sonic Series Stampede

Nerf has confirmed that the Stampede is also getting to be a Sonic Series via Nerf's Facebook. There you can see the other blasters that is in the Sonic Series, like the Barrel Break, Longstrike and Barricade. Including with the blaster is three 18-dart clip, one 6-dart clip, hand grip/bipod, shield and 60 darts. The darts will be green as shown in the picture, and will only be available with the Stampede. The Sonic Series Stampede will be released in December. For Christmas, of course. So start making your wish-list! :)

So, Urban Taggers got this picture and it looks a bit weird. First of all that lime color is not pretty. But the blaster looks interesting. It has a 18-dart clip, tactical rail on both sides, and what looks like a clip holder i the stock. There are two triggers on the blaster. It's very similar to the Vortex' trigger. So maybe it's just as noisy, because it may be a flywheel system. Interesting logo on the clip ;)

Could this be a new Nerf Blaster? Hope it is :). The Rayven is a semi-automatic blaster, and shoots glow in the dark Streamline darts. By the looks of the picture, you can see a battery door like on a Nerf Barricade. The batteries are probably for the semi-auto firing mechanism, and the flash that gives the darts the glow. It haves a 18 dart clip and three tactical rails: one one the top, and two on each side of the blaster.
But the picture says "Not Final" , so the box art could turn out different, and so for the blaster.

Soon the Nerf Speedswarm will be released, but unsure when. It's basically a minimized Swarmfire. And the name is from the Swarmfire and Speedload 6 . A new blaster has been released in the N-Strike line. It's the Jolt EX-1, and can be find in K-Mart only (so far).. The Jolt EX-1 is a single-fire Nerf blaster which was released this year (2011) under the N-Strike license. It is a small direct-plunger blaster which is about the size of the Secret Strike AS-1. It comes packaged with two Whistler Darts. It is primed by pulling on a small plunger located at the butt of the Jolt. It fires distances of about thirty-five feet flat.

Closer Look At The Vortex' Ammo

Now you can see how big the discs are, with the help of a Streamline dart.

The discs are made of a light foam type. And the top is made from plastic, to keep it balanced in the air and make it go to the maximum range. You can see at the picture, that the disc has two layers; the inner layer is the foam, and the outer layer is plastic.

As seen on Nerf Or Nothing and Urban Taggers, the Nerf Gear Up! series is leaked on the Japanese Amazon page. They look cool and all, but i (and many other) think that there has been too many repaints of the N-Strike series. As far as i know the Barricade, Raider, Recon and Maverick are the one that are in the Gear Up! series.
When i visit the Japanese Amazon page, a box pops up and asks me if i want to translate the page from Japanese to English. When i press "YES" i can read what is written. It says that the blasters are being RELEASED THE 4TH OF AUGUST, and the Recon costs ¥ 3,080 and the Maverick costs ¥ 1740. Which is about 37 and 21 US Dollars

Big Bad Bow - In the N-Strike family

The Nerf Big Bad Bow (BBB) is part of the N-Strike line. Therefore it it also painted N-strike theme. It is in some stores in the US and Asia, but i don't know what store. You probably can order the blaster on the Internet somewhere. The blaster has the same functionality as the old Big Bad Bow.

New Dart Tag blasters is releasing this year. The new blasters are yellow and black. With the blasters you'll get "tagger" darts which has a orange foam, blue plastic top with white velcro on the top.The blasters have a build in magazine that does not come out of the blaster. You simply put the darts in the hole on the side and lock-n-load. The blasters include the new designed Vision Gear (Protective glasses(Review further down the page))

Nerf Dart Tag Speedload 6:
This blaster has the dart compartment in front of the trigger. The compartment holds up to six darts as the name suggests. The blaster is a very fast gun, like the Maverick, but without the barrel. And it's more compact as well. This blaster have to be Nerf's most efficient pistol blaster. To reload (When compartment is empty) you insert the darts the way the sticker tells you. The cocking mechanism is on the upper back of the blaster.

This blaster haves a dart compartment in front of the trigger. The compartment holds up to 16 darts. This blaster looks a lot like the Raider. It even have the slam firing mode as well as single shot. To reload you just put insert the darts into the slot on the left side. The sticker in the slot will say how to insert it. The cocking mechanism is in front of the trigger in a shape of a handle, like the Raider. I guess the internals are also very similar to the Raider's internals.

Nerf Vision Gear - New Design

The Nerf Dart Tag packages always include Vision Gear (Protective Glasses). They have been redesigned once for the Stormfire set and the FuryFire set. Now it has been re-designed again for the 2011 Nerf Dart Tag blasters.
The Vision Gear comes in three different colors: Black and orange, orange and black, and white and orange. Here is the new designed glasses and the box they come in. They really look like sun glasses.

Nerf N-Strike Clear Series Vulcan EBF-25

It's not a new gun, but it's a repaint of the Vulcan. I'm almost 100% sure that the reason for repainting it was because they already repainted the Vulcan transparent green (Green Vulcan further down). So why not not spraying the transparent shell so it would fit in the Clear Series?
It also comes with red darts. The only place you'll get red darts is to buy the Clear Series Vulcan.
But jet again, the end of the belt is green. Why?
The blaster is a Target USA exclusive.

Nerf Sonic Series!

There are five Nerf guns that have been repainted to transparent green. I don't know the reason for that, but it's still cool. The blasters have the same functionality as the original blaster, but only with the green, transparent shell.
All of the blasters are a Toys'R'Us Exclusive.

I was on YouTube and checked my subscriptions, and i found this.

It probably is the new Nerf Dart Tag gun. I do not know the name of it, and i have looked around for it but couldn't find it. Everybody calls it the "20 Blaster", so i did it too.

Nerf Dart Tag Hyperfire. New design and new box.

Nerf has released this gun a log time ago in red and blue in a 2-player set. Now they have redesigned it and given it a new box.
The Hyperfire was first released in red and blue, then green and orange, and now in a green/orange with Dart Tag theme. The gun comes with orange Vision Gear and ten orange darts.
The box is similar to the Maverick or Nitefinder's box, but bigger.
So that is what's new with this gun. The internals are the same , but probably in other colors.

So, i have finnaly put the pieces together, and now i know what guns that are really coming out. There has been published two guns allready : The Deploy and Longstrike. But the other guns are to be published between fall and winter 2010.

So these guns and the Deploy and Longstrike are the Nerf 2010 guns. But there is another gun: The nerf N-Strike Barricade REV-10. Is it comming out this year or is it a photo chop? There is a preview in the further down the page.

So there has been made a new Nerf gun....Again.... This year...
The gun hold up to ten darts, thats what RV-10 stands for. It is a semi-auto gun, so you don't have to load every time. It is said it haves the same system as a Buzz Bee Tommy 20, but i think it haves a pump, that sucks in air, then gets released out the barrel, when trigger is pulled. So if there is a pump, then you'll know hwat the orange box with the N-Strike symbol is (Battery door).
the gun haves a tactical rail, so most N-Strike Tactical Gear can attach to. And it also haves stock capabilities, but i don't think a stock will com with it. And also a jam door, which is standart to those types of guns.
But it also could be a very very good photochop, because Nerf only inteded to make ONE gun in 2010, but now it seemes that they can't stop making new guns.

Nerf N-Strike Barrel Break IX-2 Preview

This new Nerf blaster will be out in August. It will be sold ONLY at Toys'R'Us.
The "IX-2" indicates that it only shoots two darts.
It's a double barrel "shotgun", like the Buzz Bee Double Barrel Dart Shooter. It got the name from the barrel that you "break" down .
With the gun you'll get a long time wanted tactical dart holder, that hold up to eight darts! The dart holder fits evry Nerf blaser with a tactical rail.
The Barrel Break shoots Sonic Micro darts. I think that the blaster haves two firing modes: Single shot and double shot.
Maybe Nerf haves been sneek peeking at Buzz Bee Toys, because it is the same consept as the Double Barrel Dart Shooter.

Nerf Superhero Edition

Nerf haves also made these superhero based guns:

-Nerf Iron Man Magstrike. Based on Iron Man.

-Nerf Hulk Abomination. Based on The Incredible Hulk.

-Nerf Iron Man Firefly. Based on Iron Man.

-Nerf Optimus Prime. Based on Optimus Prime, from Transformers.

-Nerf Dart Tag Spiderman vs. Venom. Based on Spiderman 3.

-Nerf Iron Strike (NEW!). Based on Iron Man 2.

Seems like Hasbro is repainting or making new blasters for special Marvel movies and Transformers.

I know why they made Transformers blasters, because it was the first movie Hasbro had been part of. So thats why they made the Transformers blaster.

But i don't know why they made so many Marvel blasters. Maybe Marvel is part of Hasbro.

If you look at the Transformers blaster, and then on the Iron Strike blaster, you'll see that the Transformers blaster is just repainted.

The Hulk blaster is just a rapaint of the Titan and Hornet. But the Scout is not there. Any idea why?

The Iron Man Magstrike and Firefly is just repaints of the original Magstrike and Firefly.

But the Spiderman blasters are made from scratch. they made it look like you're shooting web from your arm like Spiderman and venom does.

You also get a huge sticker with the Iron Man Firefly and the Iron Man Magstrike.

Nerf Special Edition: Red

These guns are really not old, but i would like to talk a little about them anyways.
Red guns:
-Nerf Recon
-Nerf Longshot
-Nerf Vulcan

I dont know when these guns was released, but i think that Hasbro was empty of ideas. So one of them probably said: "Lets colour some of our guns red."
It seemed to be a good idea, but they cost more than the normal ones and are in a limited edition.

PS: Look at the Vulcan's belt. Why is is green? Is it a painting fail? Or is it supposed to be there?

Nerf's favourite blasters is comming in a clear edition.

This year have Nerf made their favourite Nerf blasters into the Nerf Clear Series.
The blasters they are gonna give a makeover is:
-Nerf Recon (No image avaiable).
-Nerf Raider.
-Nerf Deploy.
-Nerf Nite Finder.
-Nerf Maverick.

The clear maverick haves been around quite long, and it seems like Hasbro is not gonna take it away.
The guns are acting just like the normal ones, only that they have a clear shell.
In my opinion, i think you're wasting money on buying one of these, but it's your choise.

The Raider's drum-magazine is also clear, but not the Recon/Deploy. Why? Any idea?

New Nerf Gun?

I have read about this gun. Some said it was the Nerf N-Strike Spartan NCS-12. Others thought it was very good (but fake) photochop.
Personally i think it is the Spartan, because it haves this long clip/magazine for holding the 12 darts.
But it looks like a Vulcan in the front, a Longshot tactical rail and jam-door , Recon/Raider handle and a little bit Firefly behind the handle.
The Spartan is supposed to be a semi-auto gun. It looks like it too, because of the hole over the trigger. It's like a hole for the empty bullets to go out, on a real gun.
Since there is a clip/magazine, i believe it shoots Streamline darts.

Nerf N-Strike Spectre REV-5 Preview

I am not sure when this gun in comming, but i'll say what i know.
This is a REV gun. That meens that this gun haves a rotating barrel like the Maverick and Firefly.
The barrel holds five Sonic Micro darts, and rotates while you're pulling the trigger.
It haves a folding stock, that you can fold to your liking or completly collapsed. You can also take of the stock and use a Recon/Raider stock if you want to.
There is a barrel extension too, that you can take of and replace.
If you take of the stock, then you'll have a pistol with a "silencer".

Nerf N-Strike Alpha Trooper CS-18 Preview

This gun will be released in August 2010.
It is a CS gun so it haves clip/magazine.
It comes with a drum-magazine, that holds 18 streamline darts.
The gun haves the same feature as the Nerf Raider; it haves the slam fire mode.
Since it's a very special gun, Hasbro are only gonna sell them at Target.
That meens that it only sells in America.
